Enchantments – For the Healing Priest

For the most part, these enchantments will focus on the stats most relevant to our work – Stamina, Intellect, Spirit, Healing, and Mp5. Not all are enchantments provided by Enchanters, though.

Head

There's really only one glyph you want to use – the Glyph of Renewal. This costs 100g and requires that you be Revered with Honor Hold. It provides 35 Bonus Healing and 7 mp5. Purchase it from the quartermaster at Honor Hold, naturally.

Shoulders

What shoulder enchants you can get depend on whether you are allied with the Aldor or the Scryers, and how far along you are with your chosen faction. Each Inscription costs a varying amount of Holy Dust (gained for turning in Fel Armaments for Aldor rep) or Arcane Runes (for turning in Arcane Tomes for Scryers rep).

Cloak

I'm gonna' level with you here. There's nothing for your cloaks that's gonna' be too earth-shattering. A cheap, simple option is Enchant Cloak – Major Armor; it only provides 120 armor, but also only costs 8 arcane dust. You could potentially go for one of the resistance-based enchantments, but those either provide 15 resistance for a specific school or 7 across the board; in either case, nothing I'd consider worth the mats. The only general-use enchantment I would otherwise consider is Enchant Cloak – Subtlety. It reduces the thread you cause by 2%, but costs 4 small prismatic shards, 2 greater planar essences and 8 primal shadow.

Chest

You have two main options here. The first is Enchant Chest – Restore Mana Prime, which provides 6 mp5 at the cost of 2 lesser planar essences and 2 arcane dust. The other is Enchant Chest – Major Spirit, which provides 15 spirit at the cost of 2 greater planar essences. The more Intellect you have, the more valuable the latter enchant is, but either should be a solid choice for mana regeneration.

Wrists

The main enchantment here is Enchant Bracer – Superior Healing. It provides 30 bonus healing for 4 greater planar essences and 4 primal life. You could also consider Enchant Bracer – Fortitude (12 stamina for 1 large prismatic shard, 10 greater planar essences and 20 arcane dust) or Enchant Bracer – Restore Mana Prime (6 mp5 for 8 greater planar essences).

Hands

There's really only one enchantment to be of interest here – Enchant Gloves – Major Healing. It provides 35 bonus healing for 6 greater planar essences, 6 primal life and 6 large prismatic shards.

Legs

For the legs, you'll definitely be wanting a Silver Spellthread or Golden Spellthread. These items are made by tailors who are in good with the Aldor. The silver spellthread provides 46 Bonus Healing and 15 Stamina; its mats are 1 Rune Thread and 5 Primal Life. The golden spellthread provides 66 Bonus Healing and 20 Stamina, but costs 1 Rune Thread, 10 Primal Life and 1 Primal Nether to make.

Feet

Good boot formulae that benefit healers are rare, but there's one of note: Enchant Boots – Fortitude. It provides 12 stamina at the very low cost of 12 arcane dust. It isn't an easy recipe to secure though. If you're having trouble finding someone who can do it, another option is to have a leatherworker make you a Magister's Armor Kit, which can be applied to boots (as well as chest, leg or hand pieces, but there are better options for those) and will give you 3mp5 for the cost of 3 heavy knothide leather and 1 primal mana.

Rings

Note that rings can only be enchanted if you yourself are an enchanter. Any rings that have a ring enchant applied to them are made soulbound if not already so. That said, if you are a lucky enchanter and revered with the Sha'tar, you can use Enchant Ring – Healing Power to imbue each of your rings with 20 Bonus Healing. The mats for each use are 2 large prismatic shards, 3 greater planar essences, and 5 arcane dust.

Weapon

Your typical choice here is going to be the old standby, Enchant Weapon – Major Healing. It provides a whopping 81 bonus healing, and costs 8 large prismatic shards, 8 primal water, and 8 primal life to cast. If for whatever reason you're not interested in more bonus healing, you could also pursue Enchant Weapon – Major Intellect, imbuing your weapon with 30 intellect for the cost of 2 large prismatic shards and 10 greater planar essences.
